ShopPower Trial

This is a free trial version of ShopPower v6. Its database format and skin system are identical to the 'full' versions of the software so you can design and stock your store with the trial version before purchasing the software in order to go live.

The trial version lacks the following:

License for live web use running a web site
Backend security (password protection) and front end security code and fixes
Payment systems
Some other features that are not required to stock the database or design a skin such as search, stats, Froogle feed, real-time currency rates feed, etc.

This version contains the features required for most web stores and offers the most cost-effective route to implementing a live ShopPower store.

It includes the following features:

ShopPower Pro

This is the deluxe version that contains features for larger, higher-spec stores.

It includes all the features of the Standard version PLUS:

Search-engine-friendly URL functionality
Quantity/bulk discounts ('price breaks')
Promotions ('buy 1X get 2Y free', 'spend $10 get X free', etc.)
Customer groups - access to restricted items and special pricing for certain groups of customers
Product attributes - extensible and customizable method of adding categorized data for products such as ISBN (for books), manufacturer information or even meta-tags

Upgrading from ShopPower Trial

Moving from the v6 trial version to the standard or pro versions is simple. Just replace the ASP files with the ones from the standard or pro versions, and insert the license number given to you after purchase.
